Founded in 1946, FUHR today develops and produces rolling mills mainly for cold forming applications for customers from various industry sectors

The scope of delivery encompasses the entire range from stand-alone units to turn-key solutions for shaped, flat and round profiles made of ferrous- and nonferrous wires, as well as stainless steels.

FUHR provides a wide range of modular-built, high-precision rolling mills that combine highest production speeds of up to 1000m/min with tolerances of +/- 1μm.

The combination of latest wire rolling technologies with integrated measurement, PLC control systems and process visualisation allows to minimise set-up times and thus, both small and large batches can be produced very efficiently.

Being equipped with these production lines enables our customers to always stay ahead of their competition.

Furthermore, FUHR also has a long tradition in designing and building layer winding machines and thus, offers a wide range of spoolers in cantilever and pintle design for gross weights from 200 kg up to 10 tons.
